can you see the people dancing in the water?
in the glistening surface of the waves
under the California sun
they were having so much fun
no, how do you see them?
I see them now
I saw them then

little left to learn
endless opportunity
"young buck"
vain vanity

continue to bless me with your presence.

in the movement of the waves under the glistening Sun
you have to take your eyes out of focus
and hocus pocus
dancing harder than on Kho Pangan
on a full moon party
fished from shore
in the sea
the grooves
the moves
the obstacles produced
the challenges induced
territory navigated
gashes of the Giant Squid
water bursts out
a meal turned fluid
the fisherman and the sea
who would believe
were dancing in waves
